World Database of Nematodes

We, the Nemys editors and the WoRMS Data Management Team (DMT), would like to express our appreciation to Prof. Ann Vanreusel for her support to Nemys from 2018 until her retirement. During this period, Ann offered guidance on ecological aspects of marine nematodes and contributed to discussions that supported the growth of the platform.
We are also grateful for her institutional and logistical support in the organization of the Nemys workshop held from 5 to 7 September 2018.
Finally, we acknowledge her contribution as co-author of the publication “Guidelines for species descriptions of free-living aquatic nematodes: characters, measurements and their presentation in taxonomic publications” (Mokievsky et al., 2024, Zootaxa 5543(2): 225–236).
