Andrassy (1985) synonymized Abunema Khera, 1971 with Tripylina, Brzeski & Winiszewaksa-Slipinska, 1993. He supposed that Khera described the same genus as Tripylina, and Abunema indicum Khera, 1971 is the same as Tripylina arenicola (de Man, 1880)
