Taxonomic remark Wieser, 1956 originally erected the subgenus Synonchoides under the genus Thoracostoma. Hope, 1967 keeps the subgenus Synonchoides, but brings it under the genus Pseudocella. Later, Platonova 1970 brings Synonchoides at genus level. [details]
