Validity Halalaimus sapeloi was never described and/or published in a journal. It was just listed in this ecological article: Wieser, W. (1964). Biotopstruktur und Besiedlungsstruktur. Helgolaender Wissenschaftliche Meeresuntersuchungen, page 369.
