Chitwood’s publication represents the nomenclatural act establishing the name E. steineri on page 54, but does not include a full morphological description. This taxonomic concept should not be confused with Rhabdogaster cygnoides sensu Metschnikoff, 1867 or sensu Schepotieff, 1908.
