Nemys was represented at the International Meiofauna Conference, in Évora – Portugal 07-12/07/2019.
Every three years meiobenthologists from all around the world gather together to present their results, discuss important themes and increase their networks. The International Meiofauna Conference takes place each time in a different country and this year its seventeenth edition was in Évora – Portugal from 07 to 12/07/2019. This conference gives the opportunity for those working on Meiofauna to interact with other researchers and to get acquainted with the most recent findings.
Nemys development was shown in one poster – “Morphological species descriptions of free-living nematodes: measurements, characters and their presentation in taxonomic papers” - and one oral presentation – “Update on Nemys/WoRMS – An evolving online database with taxonomic and ecological information on nematodes”.
